Wilma Williams

Tupelo - Wilma Jeanette Williams, 86, died Monday, October 15, 2018, at Diversicare after a lengthy illness. She was born in Tupelo, March 1, 1932, to Buck and Estelle Marcy Parker. Early in life, she worked as a seamstress at Reed's Manufacturing before retiring to raise a family. Her greatest joys in life were working in her flower garden, especially with her elephant ears, and spending time with her family. She was a member of Auburn Baptist Church.



Survivors include two sons, Jackie Williams and his wife, Ramona of Tupelo and Paul Williams and his wife, Martha of Guntown; grandchildren, Tammy Robinson Mays and her husband, Jesse of New Albany, Marcy Robinson Bean and her husband, Chris of Mooreville, Amy Williams Martin of Saltillo, Jay Williams and his wife, Kenzie of Saltillo, Wesley Williams of Tupelo, Roger Dale Williams, Jr. and his wife, Emily of Mantachie, Beverly Williams Agnew and her husband, Robert of Dorsey, Don Williams and his wife, Brittany of Mooreville, Matt Williams and his wife, Serena of Dorsey, Brandy Williams of Tupelo, Kelly Williams of Tupelo and Shelley Williams of Tupelo; a host of great-grandchildren; and two great-great-children.



She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister; two brothers; one daughter, Beverly Jane Robinson; and two sons, Roger Dale Williams, Sr. and Charles Allen Williams.



Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. Thursday, October 18, 2018 and one hour prior to services Friday, October 19, 2018 at W.E. Pegues, Tupelo.



Services honoring her life will be 11 a.m. Friday, October 19, 2018 at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W.E. Pegues with Bro. Dale Carr officiating. Burial will be in Auburn Cemetery.



Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.



Honorary pallbearers will be her great-grandchildren.



The service will be live streamed and recorded for those who may not be able to attend at www.peguesfuneralhome.com .
