William Laurence Whitaker, 59, died Friday, March 8, 2019 at Diversicare in Amory. A native of Tupelo, he was born August 8, 1959 to Bill and Ellamae Whitaker Wiggington. William loved his grandchildren and enjoyed playing Bingo at Super Bingo in Tupelo. He was a member of Broken Life Ministries.
Survivors include his only daughter, Tabatha Roberts of Tupelo; three grandchildren, Jaylen Pounds, Keylee Pounds and Gabriel Roberts of Tupelo; and one sister, Barbara Anne Whitaker.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Ellamae Wiggington; and brother, Carl David Whitaker.
A memorial service in his honor will be 5:30 p.m. Thursday, March 14, 2019, at Northstar Church – Tupelo Campus.
