WILLIAM UMFRESS
Mooreville- William "Bill" Umfress, 46, died Sunday, May 28, 2006, at the North Mississippi Medical Center after a lengthy illness. A Mississippi native, he was born July 17, 1959, to Billy and Ann Wood Umfress. He worked with sheetrock in the construction industry and was a handyman for Glen and Cleo Keith. He was a member of the Baptist Church.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Sammy Lansdell officiating. Burial will be in the Keyes Cemetery.
Survivors include one daughter, Robin Whitaker; and one son, Daniel Umfress, both of Mantachie; two grandchildren; several nephews.
Visitation will be from noon until 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home
