AMITE, La. - Wilbern Lee, 63, died Thursday, Nov. 16, 2006, at his residence in Amite after a lengthy illness. He was born and raised in Amite and spent most of his working life as a mechanic and a security guard. He was a member of the Baptist Church.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. today at Collums Cemetery near Houlka. W.E. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include two nieces, Elizabeth Collums and her husband, Eddie, of Tremont, and Darlene Landry and her husband, Richard, of Sandy Hook; six great-nieces; eight great-nephews; three great-great-nieces; and one great-great-nephew.
Pallbearers will be Eddie Collums Jr., Brandon Collums, Charles Collums, Gary Rayburn, Eddie Rubble and Adam Step.
Visitation will be from noon until service time today at the funeral home.
