WHITNEY WALTERS
Tupelo - Whitney Walters, 20, died Saturday, June 10, 2006, at the North Miss. Medical Center as the result of an auto accident. A livelong resident of Tupelo, he was born to Tommy Walters and Denise Kemp Walters on May 22, 1986. He was a construction worker and member of East Heights Baptist Church. He was a young man who loved his parents and his friends. His greatest joy was being outdoors working with his hands and raising his dogs. His warm smile and generous spirit will be missed by all.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with the Rev. Tommy Whaley and Bill Collins officiating. Burial will be in Tupelo Memorial Park.
Survivors include his parents, Tommy and Denise Walters of Tupelo; his grandmother, Margie Kemp of Tupelo; his aunt and uncle, Leonard Camp and his wife, Mary, of Atlanta, Ga.; two cousins, Andy and Tommy Camp; one aunt, Beverly Walters of Tupelo.
Pallbearers will be Dusty Mims, Curt Pettigrew, Casey Rutledge, David Murphree, Andy Camp and Tommy Camp.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
