TupeloWayne Collins, 53, died Wednesday, April 26, 2006, at the Jaquith Nursing Home in Whitfield, MS. A Lee county native, he was born May 25, 1952 to the late John Wayne Collins. He spent most of his working life in the roofing industry, with over 20 years at Abernathy & Clark, and several years with G & G Roofing. He also drove a truck for several area truck lines. He enjoyed working on cars.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Euclatubba Cemetery with Rev. Sammy Raper officiating. W.E. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda Gail Hall Collins; two daughters, Angie Todd and husband, Brian, of Tupelo and Lisa Collins and fianc, Dewit, of Thaxton; one son, Bobby Collins of Tupelo; one brother, Robert Collins of Mooreville; one sister, Mellisa Ann Williams of Amory; four grandchildren, Alexandria Collins, Xzandier Collins, Vitani Todd and Dillion Todd.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Collins, Brian Todd, Michael Collins, Leroy Hall, Robert Lee Hall, and Roy Hall.
