Pontotoc—Wanda Jean Reed, 49, passed away Thursday, June 4, 2020 at the Baptist Desoto Hospital in Southaven. She was born November 5, 1970, the daughter of Willie Jean Reed and Annie Katherine Montgomery Reed. Wanda worked in food services for the North Mississippi Medical Center for several years. She was a member of God’s House of Prayer and she enjoyed reading.
Wanda is survived by her three children, Jayla Currier, Z’Quaylin Reed, and Vanity Reed; two grandchildren, Ava and Josiah Lewis; a sister, Tasha Parker; a brother, Willie Reed; and several other extended family members.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Grayson Porter Cemetery with Pastor James Fitzpatrick officiating. W.E. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements.
Pallbearers will be Deonte Reed, Jody Lewis, Gene Powell, T.J. Magee, and Melvin Reed.
