Wanda Henry
Saltillo -Wanda Henry 65, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2017, at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. She was born in Baldwyn on December 18, 1951, to Jessie Millard and Clara Mae Henry. Wanda worked at Wal-mart for five years as a cashier and Central Services at North Mississippi Medical Center for 17 years. She enjoyed crocheting, cook books and working in her flower garden. Wanda also enjoyed collecting birds, lighthouses and dolls. She was member of Saltillo First Baptist Church. Wanda was loved by her family and will be dearly missed.
Survivors include her daughter, Stacie Hamblin (Jason) of Saltillo; four sisters, Linda Ethridge, Patsy Henry; Peggy Irvin (Mike) and Debbie Thomas (Eddie); three brothers, Arile Henry (Gladys), Gerald Henry and Jerry Henry (Zina); two grand children, Erin Hamblin and Aubrey Haire; three great-grandchild, Hunter Brock; Brayden Haire and Nevaeh Martinez numerous nieces and nephews; special friends, Sandy Wilson, Tina Christian and Janice Haygood.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Bonnie Purvis; one brother, Charles Henry; one grandchild, Brandon Brock.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 18, 2017, at the Saltillo Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Ronnie Hatfield and Rev. Jason Webb officiating. A Graveside Prayer will follow at Ingram Cemetery in Baldwyn.
Pallbearers will be John Wilson, Steven Wilson, Kirk Henry, Jessie Ethridge, Kyle Henry and Matthew Wilson.
Honorary pallbearers will be her brothers, Gaye Donaway and Amy Edwards.
Visitation will be from 5 until 9 p.m. Friday, March 17, 2017, at W. E. Pegues, Saltillo.
