Wanda Breedlove

WANDA BREEDLOVE Madison - Wanda Faye Robinson Breedlove, 75, passed away Sunday evening, July 19, 2015 at St. Catherine Village's Siena Center Nursing Home in Madison, Mississippi. She was born on September 2, 1939 to Cecil and Opal Kirby Robinson in the Carolina Community in Itawamba County. She was a graduate of the Class of 1957 from Tupelo High School and spent most of her adult life living in Tupelo until moving to St. Catherine's Village in 2013. She was a long-time employee of WTUP/WELO radio stations and retired from BancorpSouth in 2003 after 23 years of service. Wanda was active in church for most of her life. She was a long-time member of Tupelo Free Will Baptist Church and East Heights Baptist Church. She was currently a member of Harrisburg Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Allen "Bob" Breedlove Sr. and her parents. Survivors include her son, Robert Allen "Bobby" Breedlove Jr., his wife Jan, and their daughters Lauren and Allie of Madison; one nephew, Jack Breedlove and his wife Jo Ellen of Little Rock, Arkansas; one niece, Martha Melton and her husband Terry of Saltillo; and many first cousins who have remained a close part of her family throughout her life. Services will be held 2 p.m. July 24, 2015 at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Dr. Forrest Sheffield officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Donald Wayne Robinson, James Howard Robinson, Bobby Joe Baggett, Joel Robinson, Doyle Robinson, Bobby Gene Robinson, Wendell Robinson and Mike Robinson. Also, the family would like to request donations to Sanctuary Hospice House, 5159 W. Main Street, Tupelo, MS 38801 in lieu of flowers. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Friday at W. E. Pegues, Tupelo.
