Tupelo- Walter Davis "Cowboy" Priddy, 78, passed away Sunday, November 9, 2014 at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, MS. He was born August 12, 1936 to Luna May Davis Priddy and John Relder Priddy. He was a member of Boguefala Baptist Church in Mooreville. He was a retired truck driver and long time resident of Tupelo. He is survived by his wife, Mary Priddy; four daughters, Anita Jett, Tonya Lamascola (Charlie), Debra Brown, Barbara Priddy all of Illinois; two sons, David Priddy of Illinois, Jerry Priddy (Denise) of Arkansas; seven stepchildren, Frank Fritz (Robin), Bill Fritz (Loretta), Wanda Rogers, Donna Donaldson, Stephanie Jones (David), Nina Allred (Phillip), Ed Williams (Anna); 43 grandchildren; 40 great- grandchildren; two sisters, Maxine Maxwell (Bill) of Kirkville, Nudine Owens of Pontotoc, and a special friend, Steve Milam. He is preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Myra Patton; and former spouse, Katherine Fritz Priddy. Services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W.E. Pegues. Burial will be in Priceville Cemetery with Rev. David Perry officiating. Maxine Maxwell will be giving the Eulogy. Pallbearers will be Steve Milam, Anthony Patton, David Priddy, Billy Owen, Jerry Priddy, and Brian Maxwell. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at the Jefferson Street Chapel.
