W (Bryan) Lollar

August 16, 1921 — February 8, 2010

Mooreville - W.B (Bryan) Lollar, 88, died Monday, February 8, 2010, at The Sanctuary Hospice House after an extended illness. A native of the Eggville Community, he was born August 16, 1921 to Fletcher and Molly Barber Lollar. He served in the US Army during World War II, as an anti-aircraft artilleryman on the Reine River. He was a brick mason for R.J. Wilemon for over 20 years. He also raised cattle and horses and loved spending time with his family.

Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Bobby Howell officiating. Burial will be in Eggville Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Ann Burcham Lollar of Mooreville; one son, Robbie Lollar (Charlotte) of Mooreville; two grandchildren, Christopher Lollar ( Lindsey) and Brandon Lollar (Jennifer), all of Mooreville; three great-grandchildren, tripletts Riley, Olivia, and Madeline Lollar.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Nancy Runae Lollar; three brothers, Arthur, Preston, and Cecil Lollar.

Pallbearers will be Christopher Lollar, Brandon Lollar, Harold Christian, Gerald Christian, Mike Hammock, Earl Hammock, Wade Hammock, and Austin Hammock.

Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
