VIVIE MAE MORGAN Hamilton - Vivie Mae Morgan, 85, died Monday, October 22, 2012, at her residence. She was born in Amory on October 6, 1927 to Samuel Martin and Grace Parker Oswalt. She was a registered nurse and spent her career as a surgical nurse at The North Mississippi Medical Center. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. She was an avid reader and enjoyed shopping. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, October 27, 2012 at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery. Survivors include two daughters, Diane Clark of Hamilton and Stacey Phelps (Scott) of Redwing, Minnesota; two grandchildren, Britt Jones (Jared) of Decater, Georgia and Morgan Clark (Shauna) of Hamilton; three great-grandchildren, Myles Clark, Lydia and Emerson Jones. She was preceded in death by her husband, J. B. Morgan; one sister, Libby Honeycutt; her parents. Visitation will be 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Saturday, October 27, 2012 at the funeral home.
