Vivian Morton
TUPELO " Vivian Louise Morton, 88, formerly of Pontotoc, died Saturday, July 7, 2007, at the Tupelo Nursing and Rehab Center after an extended illness. She was born Sept. 22, 1918, in Lee County. She was a factory worker and an Avon representative.
She was a member of Priceville Baptist Church. She loved her family and friends and enjoyed bingo, dominoes and word search puzzles.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W.E. Pegues with Bro. Tim Tutor and Bro. Wayne Cox officiating. Burial will be in the Old Union Cemetery in Shannon. Baldwin, Nowell and Clark Funeral Directors of Pontotoc is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include three daughters, Betty Ann Barnett and Barbara Jean Alexander and husband, Ray, all of Tupelo, and Deborah Louise Martin and husband, Todd, of Mantachie; one son, Jerry W. Rhudy and wife, Patsy, of Tupelo; her son-in-law, Lynn Beckham of Coffeeville; her grandchildren, Cynthia Anzuini, Gary Smith, Cheryl Rogers, Marty Smith, Shelia Winkler, Wayne Rhudy, Chris Rhudy, David Alexander, Ginger Alexander, Jennifer McCammon, Candace Coleman, Annie Becham, Monica Fuller and Jessica Martin; and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William S.
Moore and Sarah Annie Walker Moore; her husband, James Allen Morton; one daughter, Patsy Ann Beckham; one grandson, Torey Anzuini; one sister, Geread McVey; and one brother, Roy Moore.
Pallbearers will be Gary Smith, Marty Smith, David Alexander, Wayne Rhudy, Chris Rhudy and Samuel Anzuini.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W.E. Pegues.
