Virginia Hester

Virginia HesterTupelo - Virginia Hester, 75, a lifelong resident of Lee County, passed away Thursday, August 11, 2016, at the Meadows after a lengthy illness. She was born November 22, 1940, to Monroe and Mary Newcomb Tackett. She married Quitman Bert Hester in 1960, and they were married 45 years before his passing in 2006. Together they had four children that Virginia loved dearly and took pride in staying home to raise. She attended Verona Pentecostal Church and loved serving her Lord. Virginia enjoyed music and her puzzle books, but she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
