Virginia Buse

Saltillo - Virginia Buse, 76, passed away Sunday, July 19, 2015 at her home. She was born August 8, 1938 to Hausie and Martha Robbins. She was a lifelong resident of the Saltillo area and was a 1957 graduate from Saltillo High School. On April 18, 1957, she married the love of her life, Grady Buse. Virginia retired from Day Brite and later worked with the Lee County Shop for District #2; all the boys there called her "Ms. Pearl" and she spoke of them as her own family. While working there she was affectionately referred to as the "Den Mother" of the shop by all the people who worked there. Family oriented, Virginia loved and spent as much time as she could with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was an avid reader and loved to travel. Virginia loved all the ladies at AJ's salon and they referred to her as "Mamaw". She was known throughout Saltillo for her faithfulness in mailing prayer grams to everyone which continued even after her health declined. She was a lifelong member of Hebron United Methodist Church. Survivors include one daughter, Pam Wiginton (Frank) of Dorsey; three sons, John Buse of Los Angeles, California, Ronny Buse (Lisa) of Saltillo and Anthony "Frog" Buse (Sherri) of Baldwyn; eight grandchildren, April Jones (Eric), Jacob Dunaway, Christopher Buse, Eric Buse, Isaac Buse, Eli Buse, Emma Kate Buse and Jack Dearum Buse; one step-grandson, Preston Wiginton (Beki); two great grandchildren, Hailey Jones and EJ Jones; four step grandchildren, Grace, Jason, Lydia and Davis; two sisters, Flora Lee Sanders (John) and Alice Williams (Buddy); three brothers, Delbert Robbins (Shirley), Rush Robbins and James "Bud" Robbins (Debbie); brothers-in-law, Kenneth Buse (Ann) and Charles Riley; two sisters-in-law, Leatrice Buse and Olean Buse; a very special niece, Janie Davis of Saltillo. She was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Buse; her parents, Hausie and Martha Robbins; sisters, Mary Riley and Lola Mae Robbins. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 22, 2015, at the Saltillo Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Bro. Tim Green and Bro. Truman Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Center Star Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Roy Brown, Ron Helms, John Robbins, Mark Greenwood, Bob Davis, Tracy Fondren, Danny Dunaway, Raymond Easterling and Bobby Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be her grandsons. Visitation will be from 5 - 9 p.m. Tuesday, July 21, 2015, at W. E. Pegues, Saltillo Expressions of sympathy may be left at www.peguesfuneralhome.com
