Velora Fowler

Shannon - Velora Fowler, 65, died Thursday, December 16, 2010, at her residence in Smithville after an extended illness. She was born November 7, 1945 to William and Ann Culver. She attended Calvary Assembly in Tupelo. She loved gardening, family gatherings, and her grandkids.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, December 18, 2010 at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Ben Raper officiating. Burial will be in Andrews Chapel Cemetery.

Survivors include three children, Steve Fowler (Debbie), Barry Fowler and Ronnie Fowler (Jeannie) all of Shannon; five grandchildren, Shane Fowler (Kayla), Wendy Fowler, Chase Fowler, Caleb Fowler and Jessie Fowler; 15 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Willie Bennett (Kelly) Bennett, Shelia Plunkett and Marsha Allred; one brother, William Culver (Dorothy); one brother-in-law, Mike Fowler; sisters-in-law, Betty Stultz and Jackie Hester .

Visitation will be 5 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
