VELMA GRACE MCDOUGAL Plantersville - Velma Grace McDougal, 64, died Friday, September 19, 2014, at her residence. She was born in Marks, Mississippi on August 21, 1950, to William Ervin and Clenton Franklin Cook Cranford. She was a former employee of Walmart Distribution Center in New Albany. Her greatest enjoyment was being with her family and grandchildren. Services will be 2 p.m., Sunday, September 21, 2014, at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors with Rev. Bobby Upchurch officiating. Graveside services will follow in Ingomar Cemetery. W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements. Survivors include one daughter, Louise Davis (Doyle) of New Albany; two sons, Clenton Edwards (Robbie) of Pontotoc and William Teer (Krystal) of Plantersville; one sister, Louise Roberts of New Albany; one brother, Clarence Cranford of Pontotoc; sixteen grandchildren, Carl Edwards, Jessica Edwards, Cassie Thomas, Sam Davis, Cody Edwards, James Morphis, Eli Edwards all of New Albany, Angel Pearson, Austin Pearson, Johnathan Teer and Jennifer Teer all of Nettleton, William Watson and Taylor Watson both of Pontotoc, Samantha Edwards of Mantachie, Caleb Keith and Anna Grace Teer both of Plantersville; two great-grandchildren, Callie Grace Winter and Baby Jessie both of New Albany; and a special friend, Marie Caroll. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 21 years, Sherrell David Warren who died in 2010; two brothers, Bill Cranford and Leclead Garrett; one sister, Mary Decanter; one grandchild, Abagail Edwards. Pallbearers will be Carl Edwards, Cody Edwards, Austin Pearson, Johnathan Teer, Sam Davis and William Watson. Honorary pallbearers will be Caleb Keith and Eli Edwards. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m., Saturday at W. E. Pegues, Tupelo.
