TYLER STENNIS YOUNG Huntsville, AL - Tyler Stennis Young, 32, went to be with the Lord on June 4, 2015, at his home in Huntsville, AL, surrounded by his family. Tyler is survived by his wife, Mollie Hederman Young; son, Tyler Stennis Young, Jr.; and daughter, Carson Blair Young, due to be born in October. He is also survived by his parents, Stennis and Suzette Young, of Tupelo, MS; sister, Summer Young, of Birmingham, AL; grandfather, Julius Summers, of Brookhaven, MS; grandmother, Doris Young, of Eupora, MS; mother-in-law, Sally Hederman, of Jackson, MS; brother-in-law, Doug Hederman, and wife, Blair Hederman, of Jackson, MS; nephew, Holt Hederman, of Jackson, MS; and niece, Sara Hederman, of Jackson, MS. His grandfather, Fred Young, of Eupora, MS; his grandmother, Ruth Summers, of Brookhaven, MS; and father-in-law, Hap Hederman, of Jackson, MS, precede him in death. Tyler was born on April 18, 1983, in Tupelo. He was a 2001 honor graduate of Tupelo High School. He graduated from Mississippi State University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering. At Mississippi State, he was a member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity, MSU Roadrunners, Phi Eta Sigma and Order of Omega honorary societies, and a Student Association Senator. Tyler completed a two year Career Intern Program with the U.S. Missile Defense Agency in Washington, D.C. He was currently employed with the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) in Huntsville as a dedicated member of the Test Planning and Design Directorate. He was the Lead Engineer in charge of the Special Programs portion of the MDA Master Test Plan. Visitation will be held Monday, June 8, 2015, at First Baptist Church of Tupelo from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. A Celebration of life service will be held Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at First Baptist Church of Tupelo at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend John Stone and David Freeman of Willowbrook Baptist Church of Huntsville officiating. A private graveside service will follow at Parkway Memorial Park in Ridgeland, MS.
