TULUS WEBSTER BISHOP
TUPELOMr. Tulus Webster Bishop, 95, died Monday, December 12, 2005 at North Mississippi Medical Center. He was born May 11, 1910 to the late Olaf Leonard Bishop and Martha Ann Herring Bishop. He was retired from American Motors and a member of the Evergreen Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Services will be Thursday at 1 pm at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W.E. Pegues, with Rev. Robert Maxey, Rev. Bobby Maxey and Rev. J. C. Killough officiating. Burial will be at Jones Chapel.
Survivors include his wife of 74 years, Carrie Fowler Bishop; three daughters, Florence Maxey and husband, Robert of Evergreen; Gerald Dean McKay and husband, Jerry of Tupelo; and Delaine Jones of Tupelo; one son, Hubert Bishop and wife Lavender; one sister, Ardania Weaver and husband, Robert; 12 grandchildren, Sharon Kisor, Gloria Hester, Bobby Maxey, Crystal Darlene Faulkner, Hazel Henry, Stephanie Bishop, Gary Bishop, Ricky Bishop, Symanthia Byrd, Shiela Mattox, Melissa Ryan, and Angela Thomason; and a host of great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Melvin Kimble, Norman Mattox, David Kisor, Monaletto "Teto Hester, Buddy Tatum, and Jerius Maxey
Honorary Pallbearers will be Johnny Kimble and Bill Henry
He was preceded in death by three sisters, Bulah Loyd, Hycinth Thompson, and Virginia Murphy; five brothers, Revie Bishop, Tracy Bishop, Noble Bishop, Roswell Bishop, and Cecil Bishop; and one grandchild, Lilly Mae Henry.
Visitation will be Wednesday, 5-9 pm.
