Corinth- Truman Lesley, 74, passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2017, at Cornerstone Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Corinth after a lengthy illness. He was born in Bragg City, Missouri August 31, 1943, to Dugan and Gracie Lillian Davis Lesley. In 1964, he married the love of his life Linda and together they raised their family in the Mantachie area. Truman spent most of his adult life working as an auto mechanic and also had worked in construction. He enjoyed being with his family playing games, listening to older country music and watching Westerns, most notably John Wayne and Clint Eastwood movies.
Survivors include four daughters, Judy Lesley Traverse City, Michigan, Kathy Lesley, Lilly Shirley (Jim) and Angela Reeves all of Corinth; two sisters, Linda Gail Blankenship of Itawamba County, Nettie Louise Langley of Fulton; three grandchildren, Lillian Nicole, James Anthony, and Eric Leshawn Patterson and one great-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Linda Louise Lesley; sister, Frances Strop; brother, Russell Lesley and his twin Treman Lesley.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, December 31, 2017, at Walton Cemetery in Itawamba county.
Gathering time will be from 1:30 p.m. until service time at the Cemetery.
