JOHN BOONE, JR. Booneville - John "Trip" Boone, Jr., 52, died Wednesday, March 21, 2012, at Baptist Memorial Hospital of Booneville. He was born in Memphis, Tennessee on September 10, 1959 to John Robert "Bobby" Sr. and Patricia Louise McGee Boone. He was a veteran of the United States Marines. He was a member of First Pentecostal Church in Booneville. He was a Harley Davidson Motorcycle Rider and enjoyed riding his Harley all over the country. Memorial services with military honors will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 31, 2012 at Southaven Community Center in Southaven, Mississippi. Survivors include four children, Christy Beydler, Garrett Boone, Justin Hammett and Catholine Hammett; two brothers, Ken Boone (Toby), Mike Boone (Lisa) and Rena Jones (Rodney); his father, Bobby Boone; seven grandchildren; caregiver, Faye Wallace. He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Louise Cooper on October 5, 2010. Visitation will be thirty minutes prior to the services at the Southaven Community Service Center.
