TRICE KINGSLEY

Tupelo - TRICE EDWARD KINGSLEY, 83, died Thursday, October 26, 2006, at Daniel Health Care after an extended illness. A Lee County native and life long resident, he was born June 29, 1923 to the late James Harrison and Nettie Beatrice Webb Kingsley. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving in Germany during World War II. He worked for Tennessee Valley Authority as an electrician for many years. He was a mason and member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. He was also a member of the 40/8 American Legion and the V.F. W. He was the recipient of the Blue Cap Award by the the American Legion Post #49. He enjoyed woodworking and sitting on the porch spending time with family and friends.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, October 28, 2006 at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Minister Chad Ramsey officiating. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Hazel Kingsley of Saltillo; a daughter, Diane Parker and husband, Ronnie, of Saltillo; two granddaughters, Jill Palmer and husband, Rusty, of Saltillo, and Staci Morgan and husband Jarrett, of Olive Branch; three great-grandchildren, Kate and Charlie Morgan and Sophie Palmer; three sisters, Mary Francis Carr and husband, Hoyle, of Columbia, S.C., Dorothy Holloway Hardy and Allen, of Tupelo, and Jerry Wilson of Belden; two brothers, Carl Kingsley of Tupelo and Douglas Kingsley of Tupelo.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, James Harold and J.C. Kingsley.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Norris, Bobby McCrory, Rusty Palmer, Jarrett Morgan, Dan Durham, Joey Hughes.

Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
