Amory - Tony Glenn Pearson, 57, died peacefully Sunday, May 13, 2018, at his residence. He was born in Amory March 7, 1961, to Henry Vester Pearson and Nannie Lou Pearson. Tony worked as a painter for 40 years. He enjoyed watching old western movies and listening to old music. More recently, Tony did word searches and enjoyed coloring. In his younger years, he spent his free time fishing. He loved visiting and joking around with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Survivors include his caregiver, Kathy Pearson (Charles) of Nettleton and their three children, Selena, Andrew, and Emily Pearson; three brothers, Jimmy Pearson (Sharon) of Verona; David Pearson of Shannon, James Pearson of Verona; three sisters, Debra Smith (Nickey Bennett) of Saltillo, Wanda Hogue (Bill) of Blue Springs, Susan Page of Dumas; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death his parents; his longtime companion, Betty Caviness; two brothers, Bobby Haywood & Randy Pearson; and three sisters, Patricia Pearson, Margie Morris, Teresa Davis.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. Tuesday, May 15, 2018, at W. E. Pegues Tupelo.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at Jefferson Street Chapel of W.E. Pegues. Graveside services will be in Liberty Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Pearson, Ray Pearson, Andrew Pearson, Cody Pearson, Zack Pearson, Tony Dabbs.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jonathan Teer and Austin Pearson.
