TOMMY LOFTON Blue Springs - Tommy Ray Lofton, 43, died Thursday, September 6, 2012, at his residence after a lengthy illness. A Kosciusko native, he was born December 6, 1968, to Kenneth Ray and Bobbie Jean Odom Lofton. He was a graduate of East Union High School. He loved riding his bike and his family. He was a member of Beech Springs Baptist Church which he loved and loved his community. Services will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, September 8, 2012, at Beech Springs Baptist Church in Union County with Rev. Felix Hutcheson officiating. Burial will be in Jones Chapel Cemetery North West of Birmingham Ridge. W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors is charge of arrangements. Survivors include three-step sisters, Nancy Wofford (Brad), of Kirkville, Shirley Stuart (Doug) and Pat Nelson (Jimmy) both of Oxford; one step brother, Mark Warren (Beth) of Palmetto Community; two brothers,Terry Lofton (Angel) and James Lofton both of Blue Springs; his father and step-mother, Kenneth Ray and Edith Mae Lofton of Blue Springs. He was preceded in death by his mother and one sister Cesilee. Pallbearers will be fellow church members. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Saturday, September 8, 2012 at the church.
