Tina South Moore

Saltillo - Tina South Moore, 48, died Thursday, September 13, 2012, at The North Mississippi Medical Center after an extended illness. A Booneville native, she was born January 12, 1964 to Casey Luther and Ruby Evelyn Owens South. She worked in manufacturing most of her life. She loved going to Church, reading the Word and spending time with her grandchildren and family. She enjoyed sitting out on her deck watching the hummingbirds. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was a member of Word of Life Church. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, September 15, 2012 at Word of Life Church with Bro. Tommy Galloway officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Survivors include her husband of 21 years, Hoyte Duane Moore, Saltillo, MS, three children: Lori Newcomb of Saltillo, Kelly South and Devon Moore of the home, four sisters; Joyce Wilson of Booneville, Jane Worley (James) of Burton, MS, Betty Blunt (Gene) of Verona, Mary Shumpert of Tupelo, one brother Jerry South (Dot) of Wheeler, three grandchildren, Elena Carrillo, Brooklyn Newcomb and Cade Burt of Saltillo. She was preceded in death by her parents Casey Luther South and Ruby Evelyn Owens South and one brother, Junior South. Pallbearers will be Doug Schulz, David Wilson, Rock Bass, Bryan Gray and Paul Crowe. Memorials may be made to the funeral account in care of Pegues Funeral Home, 535 W. Jefferson St. Tupelo, MS 38804
