Tupelo - Tina Bickerstaff, 49, died Thursday, August 19, 2010, at The Sanctuary Hospice House after an extended illness. A Tupelo native, she was born March 17, 1961 to Allen and Margaret Ward Bickerstaff. She worked for Hancock Industries for several years and was most recently employed at North Mississippi Medical Center as a sterile technician. She enjoyed reading, flowers, and loved animals, especially cats. She was a member of Southern Heights Baptist Church.
Services will be 3:30 p.m. Sunday at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Mr. Sammy Lansdell officiating. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park.
Survivors include her brother, Tommy Bickerstaff (Charlotte) of Tupelo; a special niece, Angela Bickerstaff Parker(Chris) of Mooreville; her nephew, Jeff Holladay (Ginger) of Tupelo; great-nieces and nephews, Hunter and Hannah Parker and Brady, Caleb, and Cara Holladay; special friends, Betty and Jamie Powers and Vern Spellman, all of Tupelo.
She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents, Blair and Velma Ward.
Pallbearers will be Don Houston, Eddie Ward, Chris Parker, Jeff Holladay, Stephen Ward, Cody Street, Cliff Yates, Neal Turner, Jamie Powers, Phil Yates, and Vern Spellman.
Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
