Timothy R. "Tim" Hale

December 26, 1952 — February 1, 2023

Saltillo—Timothy R. “Tim” Hale, age 70, gained his wings on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at the North Mississippi Medical Center after a brief illness. He was born December 26, 1952 in Savannah, Georgia to Tom Hale and Bennie Lanier Spears. Tim proudly served his country as an instructor in the United States Air Force. Following his discharge, he attended college and began his career. On July 10, 1977 he married Teresa Bacon Hale and they celebrated 45 years together. Tim was the general manager for Cash/Mitchell Distributing and retired as a district manager for Hudson Enterprises. He was a member of Saltillo First United Methodist Church and in his free time enjoyed gardening, watching movies, and the Georgia Bulldogs. He was also a great cook and grill master. His greatest joy, however, came from the time he spent with his loving family who will miss him dearly.

Tim leaves behind his wife, Teresa Hale of Saltillo; two children, Lindsay Thompson and husband, Scottie, of Guntown and Adam Hale and wife, Christin, of Mantachie; four grandchildren, Brielle Griffin and husband, Chancy, Jada Thompson, Scottie Thompson Jr., and Hudson Hale; a sister, Pam Szeker and husband, John; two brothers, Ricky Hale and Benjamin Hale; his mother, Bennie Spears; and two special nieces, Taylor and Madison Thompson.

He was preceded in death by his father, Tom Hale, and a son, Timothy Hale, Jr.
