Mooreville - Tim Holt, 81, died Saturday, December 4, 2010, at The North Mississippi Medical Center. A Canton, Ohio native, he was born September 10, 1929 to Dale and Hazel Cobb Holt. He was a Baptist. He retired as Chief Master Sergeant from the United States Air Force after 24 years of service. He also retired after 20 years of service from the United States Postal Service in Tupelo. He had lived in Mooreville since 1977.
Services will be 12 Noon Monday, December 6, 2010 at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Bill Warren officiating. Burial will be in Verona Cemetery.
Survivors include two sons, Ronnie Holt (Aileen)and Jerry Holt (Beverly); one daughter, Debbi Fooshee; 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; one great-great grandson; special friend, Sandy Foster, all of Mooreville.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years in 2005, Virginia Louise Holt.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Wood, Jeremy Melton, Zach Elliff, Ethan Brazile, Jason Loague and Gene Johnson.
