THELMA LEE ORSBORN HOLDER Tupelo - Thelma Lee Orsborn Holder, 100, passed away Saturday, October 5, 2013, at Tupelo Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born August 27, 1913, in Lee County to Oliver and Marget Ann Johnson Orsbon. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, cherishing every memory made with them. Quilting and working in her flowers were among her favorite hobbies. She was also the oldest living member of Auburn Baptist Church. A celebration of her life will be 11:30 a.m. Monday, October 7, 2013, at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Bob O'Neal and Rev. Jimmy Henry officiating. Burial will be in Auburn Cemetery. Her survivors include two sons, Millard Chester Holder and Lester Lee Holder (Bobbie); five grandchildren, Patricia Jones, Mitzi Hampton (Bill), Phillip Holder (Penny), Robert Holder and Sammy Holder; twelve great-grandchildren, Matthew Williams, Amanda Timms, Trish McCuller, Mindy McDonald, Jeremy McCuller, Tiffany Tackitt, Bub Rock, Nick Holder, Emilee Holder, Ashley Holder, Andrea Gardner and Hannah Odom; 15 great-great-grandchildren; two sister-in-laws, Marcene Orsborn and Christine Orsborn. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 54 years, Millard Holder, in 1989; two brothers, Curtis Orsborn and Loal Orsborn; two sisters, Mendia Orsborn and Clytie Melton; one daughter-in-law, Sue Holder. Her pallbearers will be Phillip Holder, Robert Holder, Sammy Holder, Matthew Williams, Jeremy McCuller and Bub Rock. The family will receive friends 5 - 8 p.m. Sunday, October 6, 2013, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Auburn Baptist Church Building Fund.
