Tupelo - TERRY G. FARRIS, 44, died Friday, March 24, 2006, after a brief illness. A Tupelo native, he was born August 21, 1961 to Billy Ray Farris and Pat Johnson Frederick. He was an emloyee of Tecumseh Products for 20 years where he worked in the welding department. He enjoyed cooking, yard work and gardening. He was a member of Galilean Baptist Church.
Services will be 3:30 p.m. Saturday at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with David Westmoreland officiating. Burial will be in Chesterville Memorial Cemetery.
Survivors include one son, Steven Ray Farris; his parents, Billy Ray Farris of Bissel and Pat Johnson Frederick of Chesterville; two sisters, Debby Farris of Tupelo and Vickie Tidwell of Pontotoc; his grandparents, Alvin and Louise Holcomb of Chesterville; one aunt, Ann Farris Russell, of Tupelo; two uncles, Doug Johnson of Chesterville and Mike Holcomb of Marietta, GA; and several cousins and a special long time friend, Steve Whitten.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Christine Farris and grandfather, Ray Farris.
Visitation will be 1:30 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
