Mooreville - Teri Jo Abernathy, 17, our special Angel, died Friday, April 2, 2010, at her residence. She was born April 2, 1993 in Canton, Illinois to Narin and Brenda Hicks Abernathy. She was a member of Priceville Baptist Church. She attended Verona Jr. High School. She loved all types of music.
Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, April 4, 2010 at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Tim Tutor officiating. Burial will be in Priceville Cemetery.
Survivors include her parents, Narin and Brenda Abernathy of Mooreville; two brothers, Scott Noble of Booneville and Jeremy Abernathy of Atlanta, Georgia; her grandmother, Joann Hicks of Booneville; 8 aunts and uncles.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Clingmin Hicks.
Pallbearers will be Jamie Phillips, Jonathan Phillips, Tim Phillips, Terry Hicks, Dave and Christopher Clouse and Derrick Adderholt.
