Lake Piomingo- Teresa Markiewicz, 60, left Earth for her eternal life with our Heavenly Father, August 8, 2018. She was born in Bath, Maine January 15, 1958 to John and Arlene Bailey.
Teresa was a graduate of Morse High School. On September 16, 2000, she married Thomas Markiewicz and was a loving wife and mother. Early in life, Teresa worked with children as pre-k teacher and later worked as Director at two daycares in the Tupelo area.
Teresa is survived by her husband, Tom Markiewicz and his daughter, Donna Markiewicz Brunson; two brothers, Wendell Bailey and his wife, Susan and Glenn Bailey and wife, Carmen; five sons, Joshua Birckbichler and his wife, Amanda Brewer, Matt Birckbichler and his wife, Jenn, Andrew Birckbichler, Michael Pinkham and Will Hayward and his wife, Kylie; and nine grandchildren, Luke, Rayanne, Kaleb, Hailey, Emma, Lacy, Braelyn, Aleigh and Alex.
Teresa is preceded in death by her parents; and two grandchildren Piper and Keegan.
A celebration of her life will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, August 12, 2018 at Liberty Baptist Church, 106 CR 1640 , Tupelo, MS 38804, this is just off CR 1047, with Pastors Shaun Martin, Jimmy Moore and Chris Stacks officiating. A private burial will be in Highland Cemetery in Nobleboro, Maine.
