Teena Lansdell Jackson

TEENA LANSDELL JACKSON Guntown - Teena Lansdell Jackson, 71, went to be with Jesus Friday, January 9, 2015, at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. She was a member of Unity Baptist Church where she played the piano and organ for the past 56 years. She loved camping, playing music, and spending time with her family and friends. Services celebrating her life will be at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, January 11, 2015, at Unity Baptist Church in Guntown officiated by Bro. Eddie Boutwell and Bro. Tim Winters. The body will lie in state one hour before the service. Graveside services will follow at Unity Baptist Church Cemetery. W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of arrangements. She is survived by her husband, Jimmy C. Jackson of 19 years of Guntown; two sons, Phil Lansdell (Susan) of Unity, Chris Lansdell (Lisa) of Saltillo; three grandsons, Nick and Evan Lansdell both of Unity and Sam Lansdell of Saltillo; one granddaughter, Julia Claire Lansdell of Saltillo; one stepson, Mike Jackson (Lorrie) of Guntown; one step daughter, Angie McCarty (Keith) of Daphne, Alabama; two step-grandsons, Brad Jackson (Deana) of Saltillo, John Tyler McCarty of Daphne, Alabama; one step-granddaughter, Ashton McCarty of Daphne, Alabama; two step-great grandsons, Cooper and Turner Jackson; one step-great granddaughter, Kara Elizabeth Jackson all of Saltillo. She was preceded in death by her first husband of 32 years, Cecil Lansdell; one sister in law, Faye Williams; and her parents, Earnest and Evelyn Williams. Pallbearers will be Charles Holcomb, Jerry Parmer, Nick Lansdell, Evan Lansdell, Anthony Williams and Ricky Williams. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Lawson, Tony Holcomb, Jackie Herring, Bobby Dale Stanford, John Wisemen, and Kilby Shields.
