SUSAN T. MASON
Unity Community - Susan Ann Mason, 71, passed away Friday, April 14, 2017, at North Mississippi Medical Center. She was born in Itawamba County on February 4, 1946, the only child, to Alvie Cleveland and Willard Irene Crowder Lucas. She was married to Danny Mason until his passing in 1998. She worked at Day Brite in Tupelo and Charm Step Shoe Factory in Fulton for a number of years. Susan enjoyed to crochet and loved cats. She took great pride in taking care of her yard. Susan attended Church of God of Prophecy.
Survivors include her sons, Keith Tackett (Darren Crow) of Tupelo, Carey Tackett (Chandra) of Coffeeville and Timothy Jones of Unity Community; grandchildren, Brittany Fairhurst (John) of Canada and Karmen Tackett of Booneville; great-granddaughters, Madison Tackett and Piper Tackett.
She was preceded in death by her parents and grandson, Jeremy Perkins.
Visitation will be from 1 until service time Tuesday, April 18, 2017, at W. E. Pegues, Tupelo.
Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 18, 2017, at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues.
