Susan Easterling Moxley

Tupelo- Susan Barnett Easterling Moxley, 62, died Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at North Mississippi Medical Center after an extended illness. She was born March 3, 1960, in Tupelo. She is the daughter of Thomas Easterling and Dean Barnett Easterling. In 1978 she graduated from Tupelo High School. Up until their closing, she was a bookkeeper at Lady Lee in Tupelo. On February 18, 1984, she married Stephen “Steve” Anthony Moxley. Susan attended Bissell Baptist Church. She was an avid Mississippi State Bulldog fan. She enjoyed fresh flowers, watching Days of Our Lives, and a good home-cooked meal. She loved people and animals.

Susan is survived by her husband of 38 years, Steve Moxley of Tupelo; one cousin, Lisa Wilcox; and two great-nephews, Russell and Gary Morgan.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, 24, 2022 at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues. Visitation will be one hour prior to the memorial service.
