Stuart Hallmark

West Memphis, Ark.--Samuel Stuart “Stu” Hallmark, age 71, passed away Monday, April 18, 2022, at his home. Stu was born May 8, 1950 in Amory, the son of Samuel H. Hallmark and Lucille Boozer Hallmark. He worked in the security industry, achieving the rank of Lieutenant. Stu was a talented musical artist, playing in bands and writing songs. He lived life with intensity and gusto. His family remembers his kind heart and willing spirit.
Stu leaves behind his daughter, Rena Hallmark of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; his sister, Cellia Plummer of Amory; grandchildren, Owen Sage Gaskins, Aislynn Jaed Hallmark, and Aidan Skye McCarty; and a host of extended family members.
Stu’s extraordinary life will be honored with a memorial service held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 28, 2022, at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W.E. Pegues with his sister and daughter sharing family reflections. Visitation will be 12:30 p.m. until service time Thursday at W.E. Pegues, Tupelo.
