Tupelo " Rev. Steven W. Scott, 59, died Thursday, April 17, 2008, in Warrensburg, Missouri with his sister, Mary E. Williams, in an automobile accident. A Tupelo native, he was born August 10, 1948 to the late Lloyd D and Mary Nell McCarty Scott. He was a United States Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Open Door Church of God.
Services will be 4 p.m. Sunday, April 20, 2008 at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Thomas Warren and Rev. Shane Ray officiating.
Survivors include his daughter, Lisa Anne Glover (Joseph) of Racine, WI; one step-son, Joseph Lloyd Scott of Racine; three granchildren, Mikayla Glover, Riley Glover and Nina Scott of Racine; and a special friend, Lynda Gannon of Blue Springs.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers and his sisters.
Visitation will be 2 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
