STEVE LEE Mantachie - Steve Lee, 42, passed away Sunday, September 15, 2013, at his residence. He was born in Pontotoc on August 20, 1971, to James Thomas and Nancy Carolyn Lee. For fifteen years Steve served as a Sous Chef for Sweet Pepper's Deli. Fishing, metal detecting and collecting coins were among his favorite hobbies. He was a member of Norris Chapel Baptist Church in Mantachie. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 18, 2013, at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Bro. Randy Clark officiating. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery in Pontotoc. Survivors include his wife of two years, Carla Rock Lee of Mantachie; his father and step-mother, James "Sonny" Lee and Oline of Verona; his mother, Nancy Carolyn Aron of Mantachie; one sister, Lisa Daymond (Thomas) of Texas; his niece and nephew, Ainsley and Carter Daymond. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, September 17, 2013, at the funeral home.
