MemphisStephen Ray Wesson, 46, died Monday, February 6, 2006 at his residence in Memphis after a sudden illness. A Mooreville native, he was born May 16, 1959 to Harold and Wilma Faye Lee Wesson. He had worked in management in the hotel and restaurant businesses, along with other positions. He was a member of the Boguegfala Baptist Church. He enjoyed spending time with his dog and working on his computer.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W.E. Pegues with Rev. Bobby Holland officiating. Burial will be in Euclatubba Cemetery.
Survivors include his parents, Harold & Wilma Faye Wesson of Mooreville; a sister, Carolyn Van Buskirk and husband Ronny, of Tupelo; a niece, Haley Harrington and husband, Shane, of Tupelo; one great-nephew, Wes Harrington of Tupelo.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Danny Wesson.
Visitation will be from 5 until 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
