Pontotoc - Stephen William Davis, 55, died Tuesday, November 23, 2010, at his residence after an extended illness. He was born October 3, 1955, in California to John and Ruth Wright Davis. He grew up in the Saltillo area and worked in several different factories. He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps.
A memorial service for the family will be held at a later date.
Survivors include three daughters, Anna Lucas of Pontotoc, Susie Gunnells of Baldwyn, and Staci Davis of Tennessee; his parents, John and Ruth Davis of Saltillo; three sisters, Teresa Murphree of Saltillo, Debbie Holbrook of Shannon, and Millie Davis of Tennessee; six grandchildren, Cheyenne Lucas, Dakota Lucas, Landyn Gunnells, Taylor Gunnells, Robert Barkley, and Ashley Capps.
He was preceded in death by, his daughter, April Davis and a brother, John Davis.
