STANLEY HENDRIX Tupelo - Stanley Hendrix, 76, passed away Tuesday, August, 18, 2015, at Avonlea Assisted Living. He was born in Baldwyn, MS on June 21, 1939, to Banks and Eula Hendrix. He graduated from Mississippi State in 1963. For twenty-two years, Stanley worked at Blue Bell as a manager, with Pfaff Peagus in sales of industrial sewing machines and for ten years at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Ambassador Services. Stanley was a man who lived life to the fullest. He always had a smile on his face regardless of his trials and tribulations. He was a member of Harrisburg Baptist Church for many years and served as a deacon. He was an avid deer hunter and fisherman. A good father and husband and a man who cherished his grandkids. He was loved by many and will be missed by all. Services will be 1 p.m. Friday, August 21, 2015 at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Dr. Forrest Sheffield and Rev. David Langerfeld officiating with eulogies by grandson, Bronson Smith and dear friend, John Smith. A graveside service will follow at Lee Memorial Park. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Sara Frances Wildman; one son, Brad Hendrix of Greensboro, North Carolina; one daughter, Carol Ann Crimm (Rodney) of Tupelo; his grandchildren, Bronson Smith (Ashton), McKenzie Smith, Braxton Smith, Emma Hendrix, Evan Hendrix, Caitlin Crimm and Casey Crimm; and one brother, Tony Hendrix (Marie) of Birmingham, Alabama. Pallbearers will be Bronson Smith, Gerald White, Harold Hood, Hamilton Smith, Darwin Cozart, and Murray Coward. Visitation will be 5 until 8 p.m. Thursday, August 20, 2015, at W. E. Pegues, Tupelo.
