Shannon - Stacey Renea Ruth, 44, died Thursday, January 20, 2011, at her residence after an extended illness. She was born August 28, 1966, in Alton, IL. A resident of Shannon for the past nine years, she was a homemaker and travel companion for her husband who drove a truck. She enjoyed keeping up with family and friends through her computer. She was a Baptist.
Survivors include her husband of 20 years, James Ruth of Shannon; her stepmother, Shay Grace of Warrior, AL; a sister, Christine Perkins of Birmingham; three nephews, Brandon West (Christian) of Birmingham, Ryder and Hunter Williams of Ethelsville, AL; and two nieces, Bridget West of Birmingham and Chyna Williams of Ethelsville.
She was preceded in death by her father, William Grace.
