SONNY PAUL MORRISON New Albany - Sonny Paul Morrison, 54, passed away Sunday, June 15, 2014, at the Baptist Memorial Hospital of New Albany. He was born July 24, 1959, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Hershel and Laverne Farrar. For the past twenty-five years he lived in Saltillo and was an employee of Carlock Nissan of Tupelo. Never meeting a stranger, he always made new friends. Two of his most enjoyable hobbies were playing the drums and putting together model cars. He loved his wife and their Teacup Chihuahua, Tanner, dearly and cherished time spent with them. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Saltillo. A celebration of his life will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 18, 2014, at the Saltillo Chapel of W.E. Pegues with Sammy Lansdell officiating. Burial will be in Tupelo Memorial Park. Survivors include his wife of nearly twenty-five years, Sherry Lynn Morrison of Saltillo and one nephew, James Cook (Karen) of Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Angel Grace Morrison. Pallbearers will be Gavin Stanton, Mike Barnett, Brian Stanton, Brian Houston, Tim Faulkner and Ray Barnett. The employees of Carlock Nissan of Tupelo will serve as his honorary pallbearers. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 18, 2014, at W.E. Pegues, Saltillo.
