Plantersville - SHIRLEY MARIE MILLER, 52, died Sunday, August 19, 2007, at The North Mississippi Medical Center after a sudden illness. A Cleveland native, she was born January 17, 1955 to Doris Marie White and the late Eldridge Porter. She enjoyed fishing and the special times she spent with family. She was a homemaker and a Pentecostal.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Sammy Lansdell officiating. Burial will be in Auburn Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, Jimmy Miller of Plantersville; two daughters, Elizabeth Miller and Sherry Jennings, both of Plantersville; one son, Johnnie D. Miller and wife, Tiffany, of Tupelo; her mother, Doris Marie White of Plantersville; a sister, Dianne White, Philadelphia; two brothers, Wayne Weeks of Kentucky and Tommy Weeks of Cleveland; eight grandchildren, Caleb, Cayley, Carlie, Emily, Debra, Patricia, Daniel, and Makhi.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
