Tupelo - SHAUN T. LOWRY, 27, found peace with the Lord, Sunday, June 10, 2007. He was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church and a self employed carpenter. He loved his family and friends and his dogs, Queenie and Bucy. He was a true redneck.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Marty Comer officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery.
Survivors include his mother, Missy Vinson; his father, Thomas Lowry; his precious daughter, Paige Lowry; three sisters, Shea Roberts (T.J.), Heather Lowry, and Amanda Lowry; two brothers, Malcolm Barker and Curtis Lowry; his special Mamaw Faye and Papaw Wayne Vinson; his grandmother, Betty Lowry; his great-grandmother, Ottis Vinson; his aunts, Teresa Cooper (David), Teresa Lowry; his uncles, James Lowry (Norma) and Kenny Lowry (Donna); a nephew, Zachary T. Roberts; numerous cousins and friends who loved him.
He was preceded in death by a special friend, Kipp McLarty, an uncle, Greg Vinson; a cousin, Jamie Lowry; his grandmother, Eva Lowry; his great-grandfather, Roy Vinson; his great-grandfather, Iva Leathers; and his great-grandmother, Ureath Leathers..
Pallbearers will be Matt Campbell, Gregory Vinson, Brian Hollimon, Darrell Cooper, Michael Sudduth, Tory Britt, Kyle Smith, Lewis Cochran, Dee Mallett, Billy McLarty, Ronnie Easterling, Matthew Lowry, Mark Wilson, Michael Wilson, Scotty Daniels, Justin Curry and Mike Martin (Garfield).
Thom Franks and Chris Rakestraw will serve as honorary pallbearer.
