SHARON MCKISSICK Tupelo - Sharon McKissick, 64, beloved daughter, beloved sister and beloved friend, died Saturday, July 27, 2013, at Vanderbilt University Hospital after a lengthy illness. A Tupelo native, she was born March 19, 1949, to Bill C. and Lila Oline Mullenix McKissick. She was a 1968 graduate of Saltillo High School. She served the Tupelo City and County Government for 35 years. She was currently employed with the Tupelo Convention and Visitors Bureau as a sales manager. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, traveling and was especially known for her beautiful gift wrapping skills in which she made perfect bows. She had an outgoing personality and a great sense of humor. She attended West Jackson St. Baptist Church. She will be truly missed by all her family and friends. Her family and friends loved her. She loved her family and friends. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 29, 2013, at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Bert Harper officiating. Burial will be in Tupelo Memorial Park. Survivors include two sisters, Betty Jo Stacks of the Ballardsville Community and Corinne Keith (Kenny) of Belden; two brothers, Jerry McKissick (Bonnie) of the Unity Community East of Saltillo and Billy McKissick (Faye) of Iuka; a very special friend, Johnny Timmons of Tupelo; her mother, Oline McKissick of Tupelo; numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Bill C. McKissick; her grandparents, O. C. and Elaine Mullenix and Tom and Dora McKissick; one brother-in-law, L. C. Stacks. Pallbearers will be Marty Stacks, Tracy Stacks, Stacy Stacks, Kenny Keith, Morris McCain and Don Austin. Visitation will be 5 - 8 p.m. Sunday, July 28, 2013, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, 1800 W. Main Street Tupelo, MS 38801
