Tupelo formerly of Memphis, Tennessee- Sharon Marie Gregory passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. She was born and raised in Memphis; she was the daughter of Leonard Lawrence Gregory and Mildred Marie Grigsby Gregory born on October 9, 1964. Sharon graduated from Westside High School. During her informative years and in young adult life, she enjoyed playing softball and basketball. Sharon worked a number of years at Leggett and Platt Manufacturing before her health required an early retirement.
Sharon was unique, although stubborn at times, she was kindhearted, and had the inept ability to make everyone around her smile. Always telling jokes, laughing and making the best out of life, Sharon could have been a comedian.
Sharon leaves behind one sister, Kathy Billings of Tupelo; one niece, Holli Rose (Hunter) and one nephew, Heath Billings (Amanda) both of Covington, Tennessee; six great-nieces, Madie Rose, Cathleen Rose, Aubrey Grace Billings, Alison Carey, Brianna Carey, and Kaitlyn Carey; one great-nephew, Huntley Rose; and a host of loving cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Mildred Gregory; sister, Deborah Wright; brother, Ronald Lynn Gregory; niece, Amanda Carey; nephew, David Wayne Terry; and brother-in-law, Phillip Billings.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
