SHARON GILLENTINE
Long Beach - Sharon Jean Gillentine, 59, passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2016, at Memorial Hospital at Gulfport. She was born May 5, 1956, to Billy Joe and Shirley Jones Gillentine. Sharon enjoyed beading, bowling and square dancing. She won multiple gold medals for bowling in Special Olympics. Services will be 1 p.m. Friday, April 8, 2016, at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Sammy Washburn officiating. A graveside service will follow at Tupelo Memorial Park. Survivors include her mother, Shirley Jones Gillentine of Long Beach; brother, Kevin Gillentine (Vincent Bergeal) of New Orleans, Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her father. Pallbearers will be Josh Culpepper, Rodney Culpepper, David Gillentine, III, Harry Collins, Luke May and Eddie Philpot. Visitation will be 5 until 8 p.m. Thursday, April 7, 2016, at W. E.
