Scott Easterling

SCOTT EASTERLING Saltillo - Scott Easterling, 42, passed away Saturday, December 28, 2013, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. He was born July 11, 1971, in Tupelo to Hoyle and Rebecca Waters Easterling. A Saltillo resident all his life, he was a 1989 graduate of Saltillo High School. He served as a construction worker and carpenter. An artist, he enjoyed drawing and was a member of Our Art Works. Fishing and hunting were a few of his favorite hobbies. He loved his family and cherished time spent with them. He attended First United Methodist Church in Saltillo. Services will be 3 p.m. Sunday, December 29, 2013, at The Saltillo Chapel of W.E. Pegues with Rev. Tim Green officiating. Burial will be in Saltillo Cemetery. Survivors include his parents, Hoyle and Rebecca Easterling of Saltillo; one sister, Stephanie (Matt Hutcheson, Matthew and Mia) of Blue Springs; one step-grandmother, Juanita Waters of Saltillo; two special nephews, Braeden Martin and Tyler Hutcheson. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harold and Mary Kyle Waters and Clayton and Magdaline Easterling. Visitation will be 1 p.m. till service time Sunday, December 29, 2013, at the funeral home.
