Old Union Community- Molly Savannah Williams, 16, went to her heavenly home Thursday, May 31, 2018, at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was born in Tupelo May 17, 2002, to Phillip and Sonya Williams. Savannah was a student at Shannon High School where she was a member of the varsity softball team, Beta Club, Honor Choir, gifted art program, and student council. She loved going to the beach and was an avid Ole Miss fan. She was very active within her community, her church youth group at Old Union Baptist Church, as well as her school. She believed in the saying "Once a Raider, Always a Raider" and was a friend to all who had the honor of meeting her. Savannah was a ray of sunshine to everyone she touched, and the family would like to remind everyone to stay #SavannahStrong.



Survivors include her parents; one sister, Kaley Worthey and her husband, Jeffrey of Old Union; paternal grandmother, Polly Williams of Old Union Community; maternal grandparents, Jerry and Joy Boucher of Corinth; one maternal great-grandmother, Maloy Gary of Eupora; two nephews, Trip and Brody Worthey of Old Union; aunts and uncles, Pam Waycaster and her husband, Brad of Old Union and Kristen Mitchell and her husband, Ben of Madison; cousins, Cassie Gray and her husband, Ceburn of Fulton, Maloy and Laurel Mitchell both of Madison; and second cousin, Manning Gray.



She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Kenith Williams; and one maternal great-grandmother, Margaret Chrismond.



Visitation will be from 6 until 9 p.m. Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Old Union Baptist Church in Shannon.



Services honoring her life will be 2 p.m. Sunday, June 3, 2018 at The BancorpSouth Conference Center with Rev. Bob O'Neal officiating. Graveside services will follow in Old Union Cemetery.



Pallbearers will be Jeffrey Worthey, Ceburn Gray, Brad Waycaster, Ben Mitchell, Walter Markham, Jr. and Richard Williams.



Honorary pallbearers will be the Old Union Youth Group and Harris and Carson Driskell.



Memorials may be made to the Savannah Strong Scholarship Fund in care of Create PO Box 1053 Tupelo, MS 38802.
